You will learn how to create ores, ingots, blocks, tools, weapons, and even your own mob! With MCreator we can create our own textures, mod elements, and even test them out in game. The easy to use interface and programming language is suitable for anyone to start modding.

Hardware/Software needed for this course (if taken online):
A purchased copy of Minecraft Java Edition is required for this course. The software used does not support the Bedrock version of Minecraft.
MCreator requires at least these specifications of the computer in order to work without crashes, glitches or unusual bugs. When the user, for example, tests the mod, Minecraft client, MCreator build process and the MCreator itself are running so a decent computer is a must.
Minimal specifications:
- Windows 7/8/8.1/10 or Linux (>2.6 kernels) Ubuntu/Debian/... or Mac OS X 10.11+ (64-bit only)
- 4GB or more of RAM
- 2 core CPU Intel/AMD
- 500 MB of free storage
- Internet connection

Want to make a cyber-chicken or robo-pig? Learn how to build a Forge MOD for Minecraft without a single line of code! You can create almost anything you can think of to add to Minecraft. We will be covering the basics of making a MOD; which includes how to create a block, item, food, tools, and even a new mob or biome. All software and hardware is provided for our onsite camps.
