VEX GO Build and Code

This workshop is for young roboteers, 6 to 8, who love to build and are ready to automate their robots through code! With the new VEXGO Block Code software, budding programmers can learn to think like a coder by allowing them to easily build and code whatever they can imagine. 

Young Roboteers will learn how to program and automate different structures and mechanisms that they themselves build! Each day will be packed with a new build and introduction to new coding logic.

Hardware/Software (if taken online):

This course uses a VEX GO Robot kit. All hardware is included.  For Online Camps, you will pick the kit up at one of our locations before the first day of the workshop or camp. If you would like the kit to be shipped to you, an additional shipping and handling charge will apply. After the last day of the workshop or camp,  you are required to return the kit. You may also purchase your own kit on the VEX Website.

Course Offerings:

2023 Summer Camp - Weekly, 3 hours/day

Campers will build various simple machines and mechanisms using a robotic starter kit. Projects include a rubber band-powered car, a motorized supercar, and a robot for coding and driving.
