Learn basic shapes, counting sides and faces of 2D and 3D shapes. They will refine motor movement in building with smaller blocks and also learn patterning and matching. 5-6 year olds learn that 3D shapes are made up of 2D shapes. They will practice motor movements of using scissors to cut out their paper boxes and manipulate blocks to create a 3D structure out of flat 2D blocks.
